Farewell from Chloe Mercer, network lead

This is a brief update to let you know that I will be stepping out of the network lead role at the end of September and starting in a new role with Taranaki DHB as a portfolio manager. My portfolio will include primary care, as such I will maintain a close working relationship with Pinancle and the broader primary care and community sector. Recruitment is currently underway for a new network lead.

It is my hope that I will be able to continue to provide a voice for general practice, and support a strong integration agenda. The best part of my time with Pinnacle has definitely been the chance to work with general practices, getting to understand what is happening and important to you.

We have a great network of practice teams here in Taranaki and while there are challenges, there are also a lot opportunities and positive services and programmes getting underway.

I look forward to helping keep up the momentum behind strong primary care, if from a different angle. Thank you for helping make my time with Pinnacle so enjoyable.
