University of Auckland - Management of abnormal uterine bleeding workshop

    About this event

    This foundational course is designed for health professionals engaged in women’s health in primary care. Through a combination of online and in-person learning, this course establishes a strong foundation for an in-depth understanding of AUB to enhance professional practice in this vital area.  

    This is the first course in a series of short courses in Women’s Health. The content is evidence-based and universal, however, it is based on the context of the New Zealand health care system and sources New Zealand data.

    This workshop is Auckland based and will require 3 hours to complete. Attend this workshop after completing the online modules (self-paced, approximately 2 hours) to learn practical skills like Pipelle and LNG-IUS insertion. 

    Endorsed by RNZCGP for CME credits.

    Funding

    Funding for the management of AUB is being rolled out across the Pinnacle network over the next few months and clinical staff may be interested in attending this training.

    Pinnacle can provide network practices $500 (retrospectively to the practice) towards the cost of attending this Auckland-based training.
