About this event

This webinar initially scheduled on 12 May did not go ahead due to technical difficulty issues and has been rescheduled.

Te Whatu Ora and the Ministry of Health are hosting a webinar to share progress and next steps in the development of the new primary care health target, announced by the Minister of Health last year.

The target aims for more than 80 percent of patients to have an appointment with their general practice within seven days by 2030, supporting more timely access to primary care.

At the webinar, teams leading this work will cover:

  • what was learned from working with early adopter practices
  • the details of the health target definition
  • how the target will be used and reported
  • the considerations to ensure the measure is meaningful and reflects patient experience
  • next stages of development and implementation.

There will also be an opportunity for questions.

To join: No pre-registration is required. Join the webinar on 26 May.
