Influenza immunisation programme
The 2025 Influenza Immunisation programme begins Tuesday 1 April. Te Whatu Ora asks vaccinators to focus on immunising people eligible for a funded vaccine. Read all flu vaccination need-to-know information here.

You'll find IMAC's 2026 Winter Preparedness Kit and related resources on the IMAC influenza website.
All influenza vaccinations commence on 1 April 2026.
Māori and Pacific peoples have a high incidence of pre-existing health conditions that place them at heightened risk of hospitalisation and death from influenza. Ensure your immunisation recall processes recognise Māori and Pasifika whānau as a priority population.
