IV adenosine in the management of SVT (POAC)

Overview

Administration of IV adenosine treatment for patients with rapid palpitations and a systolic BP >100, where an ECG performed shows a regular narrow complex (QRS<=120msec) tachycardia in whom vagal manoeuvers have been unsuccessful, that can be safely managed in primary care. 

This service is part of the Primary Options for Acute Care (POAC) programme.
