The episode of care ends when the outcome and claim are submitted. Payment will be made once an outcome has been lodged for the case. Claiming guidelines All services are provided at no cost to the patient. If the claim cannot be funded by this service, the patient may be liable to the practice for the fees incurred. Prices are GST inclusive. Please make your claim via Primary Options, select 'Ukrainian refugee support' and then attach the appropriate invoice(s). Ukrainian refugee Initial consultation adult: $421.61 One initial fully funded 45-minute consultation. This includes notifying the patient of a normal test result by text/ email or phone as appropriate. Ukrainian refugee Initial consultation child: $273.40 One initial fully funded 45-minute consultation a child aged under 15 years. This includes notifying the patient of a normal test result by text/ email or phone as appropriate. Ukrainian refugee Follow up consultation: $222.09 This funding is for a follow-up consultation for patients returning an abnormal TB test result to discuss the results of the test. Notifying patients of a normal TB test result does not count as a follow-up consultation and cannot be claimed as such. Any other health concerns (e.g., diabetes) identified from the first consultation should be followed up through future consultations at an enrolled general practice. The patients will have to book these consultations separately and will incur normal co-payment charges. These claims are limited to one per patient per provider These consultations cover all time and consumables and there can be no extra charge to the patient. Please note that if a review of claiming indicates that a claim has been paid for a patient who was not eligible for this service then you will be required to repay the claim.
