This programme is also funded for patients not enrolled in your practice, who may be referred to you via another service/practice. In these cases, you can only invoice for this service and no other off set can be claimed.

If you are not able to provide any of these procedures for your patients, this care can be provided by another practice in your area. This can be arranged by direct contact between you and the other practice. The practice performing the procedure will invoice Pinnacle directly and there will still be no cost to the patient.

Patients domiciled in Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti area,who would benefit from treatment

• Patients not domiciled in Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti area.
• Patients who do meet the Pharmac Special Authority criteria

Please make your claim via Primary Options, select Zoledronic Acid Infusion (Aclasta) and then attach the appropriate invoice.

Aclasta Infusion: $193.20 (GST incl.)  

Please be aware the claim is all inclusive of the administration of the infusion, observation time and consumables.

Practices are required to provide sufficiently detailed consultation notes to determine appropriate use of funding.  

A patient co-payment cannot be charged. 

This service funds the administration of the infusion and there is no cost for the infusion to the patient, provided entry criteria are achieved.  

The service is funded by Te Whatu Ora.
