Te Whatu Ora board engagements

Pinnacle hosts Dame Karen Poutasi, Te Whatu Ora board chair and Fepulea'i Margie Apa, Te Whatu Ora CEO.

Pinnacle was recently visited by Dame Karen Poutasi, Te Whatu Ora board chair and Fepulea'i Margie Apa, Te Whatu Ora CEO. During this visit Pinnacle showcased some great outreach initiatives and feedback emphasised the innovation – local solutions to local problems and how future systems needed to foster and build on this while not losing what is already in place. Dame Karen remarked how rewarding it was to see how primary and community ‘make it work’ and rise to the opportunities that challenge brings. Margie Apa was very engaged and keen to understand how the connection points between primary and secondary care operated. Feedback from them both highlighted how much they learnt and appreciated the time spent they spent with us.
