In response to the voices of the network captured in the Pinnacle Workforce Survey 2023, Pinnacle would like to offer funded places for registered health professionals from within the network to have a further opportunity to upskill in professional supervision using a strength-based approach. This is not clinical supervision.

As a Primary Health Organisation (PHO), we are committed to supporting health professionals beyond the initial training. We will provide ongoing mentoring, peer support, and opportunities for reflective practice to help you to grow in confidence and competence as you begin to offer supervision to others. This wraparound support will ensure the skills gained are embedded into practice and shared across the wider primary care network.
By investing in this training, we aim to build a regional network of health professionals skilled in professional supervision. This will foster a culture of support, reflection, and continuous improvement across our general practices—ultimately enhancing patient outcomes, strengthening whānau trust, and contributing to a more resilient primary care workforce.
