Final notice of Pinnacle Incorporated Annual General Meeting for 2025

Final notice of Pinnacle Incorporated Annual General Meeting for 2025

The Pinnacle Incorporated Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday, 25 November 2025 at 5.30pm at the Pinnacle Offices, Norris Ward McKinnon building, 711 Victoria Street, Ground Floor, River Room.

We know AGMs can sometimes feel like a formality, but ours are short, to the point, and a good way to hear what’s coming up, and to ask questions directly.

At this year’s AGM we’ll be announcing a new initiative that will see Pinnacle investing more in general practice, with a dedicated way to channel extra support into practices and their communities. We’ll talk through what it is, how it will work, and what it could mean for your practice.

We will also be seeking member approval to adopt an updated constitution. This is required under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, which mandates all incorporated societies to re-register with an updated constitution by early next year. Our current constitution is 13 years old and has been revised to meet the new legislative requirements and reflect updated governance practices, as recommended by the Charities Office.

Other key proposed changes

  • Inclusion of Nurse Practitioners as members, recognising their growing role in PHO-owned practices and enabling them to vote in Executive Committee elections.
  • Broadening Executive Committee eligibility by defining “clinician” in the constitution, allowing other clinical roles to stand for Executive Committee positions.
  • Removal of membership fees, as the Executive Committee believes these are no longer necessary.

Please RSVP and join us kanohi ki te kanohi, in-person, if you can.

If you can’t make it in person, you’re very welcome to join us on Teams instead or please complete the proxy form and return to Liz Miller, Chief Governance Officer no later than 9.00am on 21 November.

The final notice of AGM, constitution amendments, proxy form and annual performance report are available below. You can request a copy of the audited financial accounts by emailing Liz Miller

If you have any questions ahead of the meeting, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
