WITT Trauma informed care course

This eight week course (Monday 20 April - Friday 26 June 2026) comprises 150 hours of learning equating to approximately 10 hours of study per week.
The aim of this micro credential is to develop participant's proficiency in the principles, knowledge and practice of trauma informed care, when caring for people with multidimensional experiences of trauma, and their whānau.
Course delivery
This course is delivered online and includes two full day face-to-face workshops on 24 April and 12 June.
Entry requirements
Qualification completed at Level 6 or higher; equivalent knowledge or skills or; attend an interview to assess capability to study at Level 7.
