Te Whatu Ora update on current measles situation

A measles update for primary and community care providers on MMR vaccine eligibility is available on Te Whatu Ora's website.

This update (PDF) contains information on:

• when people not eligible for funded healthcare in NZ can receive funded MMR vaccination (including Registered Seasonal Employees)
• ordering storing and using the private market MMR vaccine
• prioritising MMR vaccination
• what adults require catch-up MMR vaccination.

Remember: Two doses of MMR protect about 99 per cent of people from measles. The vaccine is free for everyone under 18 and for eligible adults.
