Te Whatu Ora nursing scholarships are open

Scholarships of up to $45,000 a year are available for 120 registered nurses working in primary or community care. The funding can cover tuition, incentives for you and your employer, and travel/accommodation if needed. These scholarships are open to registered nurses in general practice, aged care, PHOs, rural and community care, Hauora Māori, Pacific health services, home and community support, youth services, and palliative care. The scholarships are for advanced study such as a PGDip (prescribing) or Master of Nursing, starting in semester one 2026. Applications close 30 September.
