Te Whatu Ora primary care indicators Q2 2025/26
Te Whatu Ora has published the latest quarterly primary care indicators, covering the period October to December 2025.
The results show a trend of incremental increases in access to enrolling at general practices, a small national lift in childhood immunisation at 24 months, and a slight fall in the proportion of people receiving smoking cessation support or referral. Overall, the data highlights areas of progress alongside clear variation between PHOs and regions.
These indicators are intended to support PHOs and primary care teams to reflect on local patterns, identify where services may be under pressure, and consider where targeted improvement efforts could have the greatest impact for their communities.
