Discounted cyber security assessment for general practices

Recent cyber incidents in Aotearoa New Zealand primary care have raised expectations from the public, Health NZ, and other agencies around how practices identify and manage cyber risk. In response, Health Accelerator has partnered with PenTest NZ to offer general practices a 25 per cent discount on an independent cyber security assessment — around $1,000 off the standard assessment for most practices.

The assessment is carried out by PenTest NZ (trading as Altersec) as an independent third party. It identifies key cyber security risks specific to your practice, provides clear findings and recommendations, and generates credible evidence that reasonable steps are being taken to protect patient and practice information. Read more on the Health Accelerator website. The discount is available until 31 July 2026.
