About this event
The Ministry of Health standards for B4SC training, recommend 24 hours of initial training for all new B4SC nurses. The assessments as well as supervised practice makes up for the hours uncounted.
Our training includes:
- pre-requisite reading and observation of at least two B4 School checks (4hrs)
- two-day session in-person incl.an open book theory assessment post training (14hrs)
- supervised clinical assessments with your B4SC lead nurse provider at your practice (approx. 6hrs).
Please note the emphasis on attendees having observed B4School checks before the training day to give context to the clinical guidelines covered during the training.
